Academic Excellence

Educated in the classical tradition, prepared for tomorrow

Our philosophy draws on the Greek idea of paideia: the education of the whole person. Rigorous thinking, strong character and a lifelong love of learning are taught side by side.

Logos

Rigorous thinking

We teach students to reason carefully, argue well and follow an idea wherever it leads.

Ethos

Character and integrity

Honesty, courage and compassion are practised daily, in classrooms and on the field.

Arete

Excellence in every pursuit

High standards in mathematics, music, athletics and art, with support to meet them.

Sophia

Wisdom through service

Students learn that knowledge matters most when it is used for the good of others.

Our Programs

A path for every stage of growth

From first letters to final theses, each stage of Plato Academy is shaped around the way young people actually learn.

Plato Academy gave our daughter something rare: the confidence to ask why. She comes home eager to read, to debate and to understand — and she is kind to everyone she meets.

The Academy taught me how to learn, which turned out to matter more than anything I memorised. I still use those habits every day at university.
